Women choose working outside the home over traditional household role.
When given a hypothetical choice between homemaking and working outside the home, more than half of Americans would choose to work outside the home. While women are more likely than men to choose domesticity over the office, half of them would prefer the latter over homemaking, according to a recent Gallup poll.
